The 43rd Annual Great Day in the Country Arts & Crafts Festival is produced by the GFWC Oviedo Woman’s Club. The Festival, which is FREE to attendees, is on Saturday, November 12th, 2016, from 9 am to 4 pm at Oviedo on the Park in Oviedo.

This year over 350 arts and crafts vendors will be displaying and selling items that are perfect for gifts or your own home. Vist our food and beer/craft beer vendors in either of two Food Courts (Oviedo Blvd Food Court and City Plaza Way Food Court). Enjoy two stages of music which will range from jazz to rock and roll.

Be sure to stop by the GFWC Oviedo Woman’s Club Baked Goods Booth, where homemade baked goods are available to take home or enjoy on site. The Oviedo Woman’s Club’s famous Bean Soup mix will be exclusively available only at the festival.

Great Day in the Country 2016 will mark the 22nd year of the Student Art Fest, with work from art students in our local schools. The art will be on display and awards totalling $2,200 will be presented during the Opening Ceremonies at 10 am.

Great Day in the Country is the GFWC Oviedo Woman’s Club’s major fundraiser. Over the past nine years, the club has awarded over $600,000 for scholarships, school grants, and charitable organizations. Last year, over 40,000 people attended the event. Admission is free. Free parking is available nearby and shuttles buses will take people to and from the lot.
